The master plan is created in the paradigm of sustainable development, which is consistent with the strategic objectives of Yakutsk and the agglomeration, and reflects our approach to urban development projects. Thus, all decisions are aimed at sustainable economic, environmental and social development. In all proposals, we proceed from the value of the individual – so, economic solutions should improve the well-being of residents and the republic as a whole, environmental – to make the region attractive and comfortable for living, social – to unlock the potential of local communities and give citizens the opportunity to participate in the destiny of their city. The master plan encompasses all of the city’s spheres. We looked at the city from different angles and described what it is like, the renewed Yakutsk for life and business, creativity and adventure, knowledge and discovery and dialogue with nature. We paid special attention to socio-cultural programming of the areas, so that urban areas will not only be full of life, but will become important objects in people’s lives, their acquaintance with each other and new areas, will stimulate the formation of communities.
