About the concept
At the time of the office concept development, Elon Musk was testing a new Mars-bound spacecraft prototype. This gave rise to the metaphor that became the concept's foundation: while humanity is only preparing to conquer the red planet, Alfa should already be on its way. In the office interior, this idea is embodied in the walls, windows, meeting room names, and of course, in color. Red is the dominant accent.

Most of the floor is occupied by developers working in teams, with quick meeting and brainstorming zones — capsules — created adjacent to workstations. There are 15 in total. The capsules are named after Mars-related spacecraft: Opportunity, Curiosity, Perseverance.
The capsules barely differ from conventional meeting rooms: ample space, a large table, comfortable chairs, and video conferencing equipment. The only difference is the absence of walls: the capsules are separated from the rest of the space by red acoustic curtains.
