Architectural studio IND was founded in 2008 in Moscow, with offices in Tashkent, Saint Petersburg, and Dubai. The team consists of 300+ professionals from various fields, enabling us to deliver full-cycle projects of any complexity.
IND specializes in designing large-scale projects of various typologies, master planning, and developing strategies for cities, territories, and recreational areas in Russia and abroad. Special attention is given to projects focused on human capital development, realizing the economic, natural, and tourism potential of cities and regions, and fostering the knowledge economy.
Our approach is based on thorough analysis of the site, cultural, historical, and natural context, allowing us to propose optimal solutions grounded in experience and research. The studio's projects comply with principles and international standards of environmental sustainability. We consistently participate in competitions in Russia and worldwide, receiving architectural awards and prizes.
We are listed among the top 30 architectural studios in Russia by Forbes Russia (2023).

Architecture, engineering, and structural design exist within a single digital model rather than in fragmented drawings from different contractors. This reduces the number of clashes on site and allows for more accurate budget estimation before construction even begins. Here, technology is a tool that saves the client time and money.

Our Story
2008
Founding of IND
Architect Amir Idiatulin founds IND at the age of 26 together with partners Ravil Murakov and Andrey Sidorov. From the very first projects, key principles are established: an individual approach, functionality, and human-centered architecture.

New partners and a new office
Partners Ravil Murakov and Andrey Sidorov join the studio's management.
IND headquarters relocates to the Artplay creative cluster in central Moscow.

Best offices — by IND
The studio receives its first Best Office award from OFFICENEXT — and from that point on, it takes the prize almost every year. Office design becomes a core competency of the studio.
Designed an office for RD Group in Moscow
2016
Trust from developers
Winning the hospice design competition proves to the developer that IND can be trusted — and they hand the studio the Bolshevik Apartments project on the grounds of a former confectionery factory. This becomes IND's first major project to reach completion.
Renovation of a public and business center on Bolshevik.
2019
First master plans
IND establishes a master planning department and immediately enters an international competition with it: the studio's young team of urban planners takes 2nd place for the right to design the resort waterfront of Derbent.
Master planning becomes one of the studio's fastest-growing competencies, and along with it, the team's visual expertise grows as well — this gives the studio a tangible impetus for growth.

The studio is launching a general design division with the Dominanta Business Center project in Moscow.

International development
Offices open in Bishkek (later relocated to Tashkent): in Dubai. The first major project in the MENA region is an innovative school.
Forbes Russia includes IND in the top 30 best architectural studios in the country.

Worldwide recognition
Amir Idiatulin is on the jury of the World Architecture Festival in Miami and the BLT Built Design Awards in Lucerne. IND team is participating in the competition for the Sairme Hotels & Resorts resort complex in partnership with AAKO and NF Group.
The project geography now includes Canada, Armenia, the UAE, Thailand, and Uzbekistan.
The studio has several projects under construction — from the QOOB business center and Gustav tech park in Moscow to the Saadiyat residential complex in the UAE.
