Concept
The client is a leading supplier of premium natural hardwood. It was therefore essential to design a multifunctional space with a primary focus on stylish, contemporary presentation of the company's materials.
Upon entering the exhibition area, designers and potential buyers can appreciate the diverse range of veneers, lumber, slabs, and wall panels by Woodstock.

The studio faced a challenging yet engaging task — to create a "museum of wood" that motivates clients to travel across the city, immerse themselves in the atmosphere, and embrace the love and respect for natural materials that Woodstock embodies.
To highlight the wood we decided to execute all the showroom areas in dark tones, with dramatically directed lighting on the exhibited materials.

The "museum's" crown jewels are three central meeting rooms: two shaped as merged circles, one as an oval surrounded by wooden petals. For the interiors, we used different types of wood: olive wood was chosen for the coworking space, tamò for the reception, and the kitchen was executed using eucalyptus and lacewood design veneers.

In contrast, the office area is designed in light, warm tones accented by pale wood. The furniture in the private offices and the sculptural suspended acoustic ceiling draw considerable attention, lending the space a futuristic quality.
The project also addresses the need for shared cultural and educational activities. The office zone includes a lecture hall, a co-working space for designers to work with material samples, a dining area, and a lounge.
