2024. Build School
Moscow. 1st place
Concept
The school is divided into four blocks: arts, sports, classrooms, and laboratories. All are independent of each other, with the theater and sports halls available for community use outside school hours. These blocks are organized around an atrium — the main visual space of the modern school interior with park views — which serves as the primary circulation route.
The school spaces are transparent, allowing observation of various school-life scenarios and creating an engaging, diverse environment that stimulates activity. The interior design fosters a comfortable and safe environment, reducing the likelihood of bullying and promoting open communication between students and teachers.

ESG solutions
Low-E coated glazing maintains a stable building temperature. The project includes rainwater collection for watering the grounds and an underground reservoir to reduce water consumption for technical needs. A light-colored, green roof with solar panels protects against overheating.

Materials
Facade materials are in warm tones: textured ceramic gives the facade tactility and plasticity, while glass creates a sense of permeability. The composition is accented with decorative metal elements. Wood textures are introduced in the interior.
