The Katun recreational complex project is born from the site's own context—between the Katun River and the Chuya Highway, one of Russia's most scenic roads. This line between nature and route creates a future destination: a place where tourist flow meets the tranquility, culture, and nature of Altai. The concept is built on four pillars: nature, culture, connectivity, and program.

The project's main challenge was the delicate integration of infrastructure into the natural environment. We minimized our intervention:
— pathways and platforms are designed as eco-trails,
— lighting is low and diffused to avoid disturbing wildlife,
— surfaces are permeable, with a rain garden system,
— green areas are restored with local species without formal "urban" geometry.

The recreational complex's architecture is designed not to dominate but to dialogue. The hotel echoes the terrain's plasticity and the shoreline's transparency: vaults allude to the Katun's ripples, while panoramic openings reveal water views. Materials—clinker-textured brick, wood, glass, and metal—follow the color palette of the natural surroundings.
