Head of Computational Design
Petr is responsible for organizing the team's workflow, developing and implementing digital and AI tools for architectural design, and applying computational design methods to real studio projects. He coordinates the development of scripts, plugins, and CAD/CAM solutions, participates in creating complex design solutions, trains staff, and evaluates new technologies for their adaptation in architectural practice.
He graduated from the Institute of Architecture and Art at Southern Federal University. He is a member of the Union of Moscow Architects and a lecturer at the ITArch department of MARCHI.
«How an idea transforms into a system. Not just the form itself, but the underlying logic: how space is born, how it functions, how it can be precisely described, developed, and implemented. It's inspiring to see the combination of creativity and mathematics. When architecture remains artistic while relying on clear principles, geometry, structure, and technology. I'm fascinated by everything related to computational design: the possibility not just to draw a building, but to create tools, algorithms, and methods that help find new solutions. For me, there's real depth in this profession when you work not only with form but with the very method of its emergence,» Petr shares.
Also, IND is working on ai.ind.studio – the studio's internal AI platform that provides architects and designers with the opportunity to work with generative models.
