A subway tunnel runs beneath the site. A rectangular volume within its boundaries would limit the floor area to just 800 m² which is uneconomical for an office building. The solution is to extend part of the structure as a cantilever over the subway: this increases the floor area to 1,200 m² while also creating the tower’s dynamic, stepped silhouette.

A stylobate with an accessible roof: the first floor houses retail space, a utility room, and a unloading area. The roof of the stylobate features a landscaped terrace with a cube-shaped art installation.

According to geological survey data (boreholes 30 and 31), bedrock and hard clay are present at elevation 122.000. The selected building design is supported by a pile foundation: 27-meter-deep pile columns rest on hard clay or bedrock.
