The customer is the largest supplier of natural wood of valuable species. Therefore, it was important to design a multi-disciplinary space, one of the main tasks of which is to demonstrate the materials offered by the company. Entering the exhibition area, designers and potential buyers should appreciate the variety of veneers, lumber, slabs and wall panels from Woodstock.
The bureau had a difficult but interesting task – to create a “museum of wood”, motivating customers to come to the other side of the city, to get into the atmosphere, as well as love and careful attitude to natural material, which Woodstock broadcasts.
To make the wood look as spectacular as possible, it was decided that all areas of the showroom should be decorated in dark colors, with dramatically directed light on the exhibited materials.
The main pearls of the “museum” are three central meeting rooms: two in the form of merged circles, one in the form of an oval surrounded by wooden petals. All the surfaces of the meeting rooms are finished with rare species that are practically never found in commercial interiors – olive, succupira, tamo and others.
The office part is contrastingly designed in light warm colors, which are favorably emphasized by light wood. The suspended, shaped acoustic ceiling, which gives the space a futuristic feel, draws a lot of attention.
The office area houses a lecture room, a co-working space for designers where they can work with samples of materials, a canteen and a relaxation area.
The space combines two functions: showroom and office
