At the heart of the architectural design lies a visual concept atypical for a university building: monolithic planes and a distinctly sculptural, non-conventional form. The designers have deliberately moved away from the conventional image of an academic building, imbuing the structure with the qualities of a work of art especially since, as the surrounding area continues to develop, the building will be perceived precisely in this way: as a distinctive landmark and focal point on campus.

A beautifully landscaped courtyard has been created around the building: a paved plaza with circular green spaces, modular wooden benches, an amphitheater, and a reflecting pool along one of the facades a space designed to encourage students to linger here both before and after classes.

The interior design concept draws inspiration from the very nature of the educational process complex, multifaceted, and organic. To visually convey this quality, the designers turned to unconventional materials: oxidized metal, colored veneer, and ribbed acoustic panels.
