The site is located in a promising area of the city earmarked for renovation and development, with an excellent location — a constant flow of people passes through on their way from the city center to the passenger terminal.

The district primarily comprises industrial facilities and residential development, creating a need for a cultural-public center that will elevate the area's status and become a destination for tourists and a leisure spot for local residents.

Project concept

The architectural concept is inspired by the image of a music box: a simple form concealing the mystery of music within. The museum project considered the site's constraints — the need to preserve the existing historic building and the compact project area.

Thus, the existing structure, like fragile ruins, is sheltered beneath a new box-like volume, creating a unique interior for the museum and cultural center — a space for comfortable leisure and inspiration.
