Gateway to the City
Forming a new city symbol the "meeting gates" we drew on natural and cultural context as well as its industrial identity, reinterpreting it through architectural form and facade details.
The slope towards the Kama River became the figurative anchor for the massing of the main volume: a sharp incline, like a line of bedrock, surges toward the reflective water surface.
The stylobate's complex contour reflects this dynamic: fluid at ground level, yet rigid and orderly on the upper floors. The second tower's massing is situated in the northern section of the site, nearer the embankment. This arrangement provides superior views for both towers and enhances the overall composition's readability—this complex segment occupies a smaller footprint than the administration building (object 1).
As a result, the main volume appears less massive, while the southern tower preserves open views of the river. The structure of both towers is unified, featuring a shared stylobate and public spaces on the 10th floors. These levels include terraces and bridge connections, and above, the tower volumes taper slightly, creating a light, airy silhouette.

facade design
The towers share a unified facade design, driven by the multidirectional panoramic views. Vertical metal lamellae, arranged in a complex rhythm with varying slopes and intersections, create a multi-layered pattern that echoes the dense forests of Perm Krai.
Each building features its own accent element, creating a unique character.
On the second tower, a horizontal cantilevered element protrudes at the 8th–9th floor levels, disrupting the monotony of the sloped facade. The end of this element is designed as a media screen, transforming it into an architectural art object with changeable scenography. On the administration tower, this function is served by a break in the facade at the 12th–13th floors: a sharp vertical edge creates a panel facing the Kama River, which will be clearly visible from the embankment and can also serve as a media screen.
The stylobate is designed as a dynamic public space, with the creation of vibrant urban life as the primary focus. The central section of the first floor features an atrium gallery that connects the square with a landscaped area along Popova Street. From there, one can walk to the complex's central square, which includes a water feature.
The standalone 8-story office complex (Object III) interacts with the towers while maintaining its own distinct plastic language. Its sloped form echoes the dynamism of the main buildings but is executed with greater lightness and delicacy.
The functional zoning of the site is based on the principle of a smooth, scenic transition:
the central core, featuring a water body and illuminated channels, forms the public center;
the entrance area at the intersection of Osinskaya and Monastyrskaya Streets is accentuated by a stone garden and light installations.
along Popova Street, a forest landscape has been recreated, where the outlines of bedrock emerge through the structure;
next to the Likhachyov merchants' house, a tactful fruit garden has been established, supporting the intimacy of the space.

In architecture and landscaping, we favored materials that combine geological solidity with technological sophistication: riven stone, matte and polished concrete, metal, and glass. Integrated light lines within the surfacing and architectural elements symbolize the energy of technology and, like ore veins, softly illuminate the space while guiding pedestrian flows.
In the evening, the square transforms into a network of luminous beacons: towers, installations, and a water feature create a dynamic scenario that sets the rhythm of the site.

The dialogue between the exterior and interior is achieved through the integration of accent green in various shades, manifested in art objects, furniture structures, and finishing materials.
