Dense greenery and geoplastics shield the area from the wind while ensuring a cozy atmosphere in all weather. Green roofs, stormwater management systems, solar panels, and high-efficiency climate control reduce the carbon footprint and enhance the complex's long-term sustainability.
Architecture and landscaping shape an environment where scientists and citizens interact organically, blurring the lines between the research center and the city.
The main public courtyard turns into an open urban square, where the flows of residents and center employees intersect. The complex perimeter is activated by cafés, co-working spaces, and transparent facades.
The formerly closed and uninviting area is being transformed into a modern, open space – green, pedestrian-friendly, and seamlessly integrated into the district's fabric.
Consolidating biomedical research on a single platform creates the conditions for a new scientific ecosystem hub, ensuring the area's long-term socio-economic development.
