The kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, and high school four age groups each have their own entrances and distinct layout concepts. The building is divided into independent blocks with rounded corners that are joined together, so that each group has its own section of the facade without compromising the composition’s integrity.

Instead of a standard window grille, the architect has designed a unique pattern featuring capsules, slanted openings, and round portholes of various sizes. This pattern is repeated on the roof (“the fifth facade”) and in the small architectural features in the courtyard—swings, lounge chairs, and mazes.

The glazing area was calculated for a standard classroom 10,125 mm wide and with a floor height of 8,400 / 4,200 mm: the standard is 18 m², while the design calls for 19 m², which is 5.6% more than the standard. This margin allowed for the creation of free-form openings in the facade without compromising the lighting in the classrooms.

The palette is limited to just five materials: white facade plaster, stained-glass windows, stepped glazing (skylights), colored inserts in the window reveals, and terrazzo panels. This limited selection of materials simplifies the installation of complex shapes and the subsequent maintenance of the facade.

The shapes of the windows capsules, rounded triangles, and slanted openings are repeated inside the classrooms, extending the facade design into the interior of the building.
